IUPAT Locals 1237, 767, and 487 Endorse Dr. Richard Pan for Congress in CA-06

Sacramento, CA — The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT) Locals 1237, 767, and 487 have endorsed Dr. Richard Pan in his campaign for Congress in California’s 6th Congressional District, backing the only Democratic candidate in the race with a proven record of supporting workers, protecting public health, and lowering costs for working families.

IUPAT Locals 1237, 767, and 487 represent skilled trades workers across Northern California, including painters, drywall finishers, and glaziers who help build and maintain homes, schools, and critical community infrastructure.

Throughout his career as a physician and State Senator, Dr. Pan has focused on lowering costs for families and expanding access to health care – issues that directly impact working people on and off the job. He worked to reduce the uninsured rate by almost two-thirds and fought to make prescription drugs more affordable for families.
