Congressman Mark Takano Endorses Dr. Richard Pan for Congress in CA-06
Sacramento, CA — Today, Dr. Richard Pan announced the endorsement of Congressman Mark Takano in his campaign for Congress in California’s 6th Congressional District.
Congressman Takano cited Dr. Pan’s record as a pediatrician, public servant, and longtime champion for children, families, and civil rights.
“Dr. Richard Pan is passionate about caring for people, both as a pediatrician and an elected official,” said Congressman Mark Takano. “He won his first campaign on protecting LGBTQ+ and reproductive rights in a Republican district. Then, in the legislature, he faced vitriol and personal attacks to keep children protected. We need his courage and compassion in Congress. I’m proud to endorse him because we need his strength in Washington to help California families.”
Takano’s endorsement adds to the strongest endorsement coalition in the race, with support from labor unions, health care professionals, educators, firefighters, community organizations, and state and local leaders across California.
