California School Employees Association Endorses Dr. Richard Pan for Congress in CA-06

The California School Employees Association (CSEA), representing more than 250,000 classified school employees across California, has endorsed Dr. Richard Pan for Congress in California’s 6th Congressional District.

CSEA members include paraprofessionals, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, administrative staff, and other classified employees who keep K-12 schools and community colleges running every day.

He understands that when we invest in students, we strengthen our entire future. Strong public schools depend on the dedicated classified employees who serve students every day, and Dr. Pan has consistently stood up for safe campuses, healthy learning environments, and the resources students need to thrive. He is the champion our students, schools, and members need in Washington, D.C.,”  said Adam Weinberger, President of the California School Employees Association.

CSEA highlighted Dr. Pan’s work to strengthen campus safety and support students and school employees. In the Legislature, Dr. Pan authored landmark school vaccination and child safety laws to protect students from preventable disease outbreaks, ensuring classrooms remain safe and open for learning. He has also been a consistent advocate for collective bargaining rights and for policies that respect the contributions of public employees.

“School employees are essential partners in keeping students safe and helping them succeed,” said Dr. Richard Pan. “As a pediatrician and legislator, I’ve worked to protect children’s health and support the people who serve them every day. In Congress, I will continue fighting for strong public schools, fair treatment for workers, and federal investments that strengthen our communities.”

Dr. Richard Pan is a pediatrician, educator, small business owner and Former State Senator dedicated to keeping California’s families healthy and safe. In the State Senate, he championed landmark child and school safety laws and lowered the uninsured rate among children by two-thirds – taking on RFK Jr. twice after preventable disease outbreaks.
