National Union of Healthcare Workers Endorses Dr. Richard Pan for Congress
Sacramento, CA — The National Union of Healthcare Workers has endorsed Dr. Richard Pan in his campaign for Congress in California’s 6th Congressional District.
NUHW represents nearly 19,000 health care workers across California and Hawaii, including mental health clinicians, nurses, nursing assistants, medical technicians, clerks, and service workers. NUHW cited Dr. Pan’s record as a pediatrician, union member, and former chair of the Assembly and Senate Health Committees, where he helped implement the Affordable Care Act, strengthened Medi-Cal, expanded access to care, and fought for greater health plan accountability and mental health parity.
